Waslawa Szymborska’s verses , simple and direct, sometimes cynical, raw and romantic at the same time, disillusioned and full of love are the inspiration for this work. Through the dancers’ bodies, we can feel the deep humanity, the irony, the extreme delicacy and the universal truth of her poetry, creating a theatrical world that enhances the expressive and communicative power. Since 1996, the year she was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature , Szymborska has been a famous author in the world. With charm and great self- consciousness she speaks about themes such as love, death and life, changing them in fluid verses, all of this in illusory simplicity. The dance, abstract but evocative, gives an intense flavor elegance and light touch.
